The distances that separate us vary from the physicality of vast bodies of water to the intangible essence of sound. Through our relocation from the sea to land a division occurred, a separation of halves. Serving as a bridge, filters close the gap between language and the primordial pull to return home to our true origin, the ocean.

About the Artists:
T W O P I V O T is a collaborative partnership between Janine Rissewyck & Nicola Mousa Bajalia II. Family, location and environment in relation to geography are elemental in Bajalia’s process and the common thread is that of the ritual and the origin is that of the home.
